Share the intention, personalize the number
Your community can agree to support regular movement while each person chooses a different weekly attendance goal. Comparing effort by a single number rarely captures different schedules or circumstances.
Keep agreements specific and voluntary
If you choose a social commitment, write down what each person is accepting and what a shared reward means. Let everyone accept for themselves. Joining a community is not acceptance of every agreement.
Build in a way to change your mind
New terms should apply prospectively and require fresh acceptance. Members can withdraw from an agreement. Make room for illness, travel, caregiving, and changing preferences in the conversation.
Celebrate consistency without a leaderboard
A few words of encouragement can make a check-in feel seen. Focus on what helped someone show up, and let them decide whether they want reminders.
